December 10: Human Rights Day Rally to Close Rikers
Join us on International Human Rights Day to deliver 2,027 postcards to the mayor calling for him to take action now to decarcerate and Close Rikers.
We've been collecting thousands of postcards from every borough in New York City calling on the mayor to deliver on the legal and moral obligation to Close Rikers by August 31, 2027.
On International Human Rights Day (December 10th) we'll deliver these postcards to the mayor and demand that he act now to address this human rights crisis in our city.
