Aug 29: Court Watch to Free Our People

Join us on Friday, August 29th, to Court Watch to Free Our People as we approach two years out from the legally mandated deadline to close Rikers by August 31, 2027. New York City must reduce the number of people in jail in order to follow the law and close the Rikers Island jails. Join us in the court room to demand that judges and district attorneys stop sending people to Rikers!
